Busti, NY – After a passing rainstorm soaked the clay at Stateline Speedway Saturday night, it took a full hour of dedication from both staff and racers to pack in the track and get the racing surface back to life. The result? A smooth, fast surface that delivered three-wide racing across nearly every division, proving once again that Stateline is the place to be on a Saturday night.
The showcase of the night was the Pepsi Pro Stock 50-lap Championship, and it belonged to one man—Jason Black of Spring Creek, PA. Black grabbed the $250 Dash for Cash win early, then led all 50 laps of the feature, commanding the field with a flawless performance to earn the $2,000 winner’s check. Behind him, Andrew Hammond and Brett Hutira kept the pressure on but had to settle for podium spots in a wild and competitive main event.
In Dave Warren Auto Group Super Late Model action, Ryan Scott was in a league of his own. The Garland, PA driver checked out early and never looked back. It was a proud moment for the Scott family as his father Chevy Scott brought home a 10th-place finish. The night also saw two father-son duos compete—Doug Eck secured 2nd place, while his son Douglas Eck came home 8th, adding a special family touch to the field of heavy-hitters.
The RUSH Late Models launched their 2025 points campaign, and Randy Hall of Olean, NY wasted no time making a statement, leading flag to flag in a loaded 18-car feature. Local favorite Jason Genco and Jake Wilber rounded out the top three after battling hard for position.
The AFAB Sales Outlaw Modifieds thrilled the crowd as Greg Johnson of Jamestown, NY put together a veteran drive to score the win. He held off Troy Johnson, while Dennis Lunger Jr. thrilled fans with a charge from the 19th starting spot to round out the podium.
Nick Arnold returned to form in the RUSH Pro Modifieds, picking up a decisive win over Josh Wilcox and Ian DeGolier, while Kaden Michael used the outside line to perfection to win the RUSH Stock Car feature.
In the always unpredictable Challenger division, Dennis Harrison came from row two to secure the victory in a 20+ car field that delivered action all the way through the pack.
