BUSTI, N.Y. — The hills came alive once again on a gorgeous Saturday night at Stateline Speedway, shaking off the sting of another rainout the week before with a stacked card headlined by the $2,000-to-win King of the Mountain Challenger Special. With nearly $10,000 in total purse money on the line for that one class alone, plus the return of the Sharp Mini Late Models and a full slate of action from the track’s premier divisions.

In the marquee event of the evening, Domingo Echevarria continued his dominance at Stateline. The Odds-on favorite wheeled his way from third to first and never looked back, scoring his sixth win of the season and putting his name into the books as the King of the Mountain. John Mease, Pete Volpe, and Holden Heineman were all in the hunt late, but Echevarria held firm on every challenge to cash in the biggest prize in recent history for the challengers.

The RUSH Late Models returned to anchor the weekly program, and Austin Allen didn’t waste the opportunity. After starting fourth, Allen carved through the field and never let up to a strong Stateline win.

In Outlaw Modified competition, Wyatt Scott showed no mercy from the pole, leading wire-to-wire in a runaway victory against a good field of Mods.

The RUSH Pro Mod feature saw Al Brewer continue his recent hot streak. Starting up front, Brewer managed the race masterfully, holding off Tyler Oakes to secure another win.

Jason Black won in a barnburner of a Pro Stock feature, storming from sixth to the front in a back-and-forth thriller with veteran Chris Withers. Behind them, Dustin Gibson surged forward with an 8-spot gain.

The RUSH Stock Cars belonged to Raidden Wilson on Saturday night. The young gun rolled to a dominant win, pulling away from the field.

Chris Whyte and Ryan Card went to war in the Sharp Mini Late Models, with Whyte edging out Card in a close finish. The result not only earned him another trip to victory lane but also preserved his championship lead at Stateline.

UP NEXT AT STATELINE SPEEDWAY:

The Vintage Rumble roars in for a special two-day show! Vintage race cars from all eras and types take center stage, plus Saturday night includes a RUSH Late Model Touring Series Event. Weekly divisions will be split between both nights, giving fans a double dose of dirt-slinging action in Busti.
